Nicholas A. Black
Nick Black received a Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee College of Law, a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Clemson University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Clemson University.
After passing the Tennessee Bar Exam and being sworn into the practice in the Courts of Tennessee, Nick embarked on his legal career in a solo law practice. After a year as a solo practitioner Nick joined Ralls and Wooten, which became Ralls Wooten & Black on March 1, 2015. As an attorney Nick is able to offer personalized, responsive and attentive services to meet your legal needs. His practice is focused on serving Blount, Knox & the surrounding East Tennessee Counties.
Nick is a native of Maryville, and has enjoyed being able to return to his hometown and practice with Ralls Wooten & Black. Nick and his wife are both graduates of Maryville High School and have degrees from the University of Tennessee. They have two children, Mariella and Nicholas II.
Nick is a member of the Blount County Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, as well as the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is the past Vice President of the Blount County Bar Association (2011), past Vice President of the Young Lawyers Division of the Blount County Bar Association (2009-2011 & Charter Member), President of the Young Lawyers Division of the Blount County Bar Association (2014-Present), and the Vice Chair of the Publications Committee to the Young Lawyers Division of the Tennessee Bar Association Board of Directors (2015).
