In most cases we can set you an appointment within 2-3 business days. If it is an emergency please feel free to ask about a same day appointment. Often we are in court and unable to meet with you on the same day, but if we can accommodate you we will.
Each attorney has a different area of specialty. Our general practice areas are listed on our home page and specific practice areas for each attorney are listed on the Attorney Profiles page. If you are uncertain regarding the type of case you have or if we handle those types of cases, please do not hesitate to call. If we do not have an attorney that can handle the case for you, we will gladly refer you to an attorney with expertise in any area of the law that you require.
Retainers vary from case to case. You will be quoted a retainer at your initial meeting. Unfortunately it is hard to be more specific as each case is unique and requires different amount of time.
This is not a question that is easy to answer on your own. Often times during a consultation, it becomes apparent that the client’s problem can be fixed with just a little advice. In that case we are happy to tell you how to fix the problem without hiring an attorney. We want your business over a long time and are not interested in having you pay your hard earned money to us for something that does not require an attorney. We would much rather give you some free advice and have you hire us in the future when you really need a lawyer.
Agreed divorces are a great way to save yourself time, money and stress. An agreed divorce without children starts at $400.00. An agreed divorce with children starts at $500. Often times these fees cover the entire attorney fee for the divorce, but some property division requires extra paperwork which costs more. For instance if you own real estate and the divorce requires that a deed be drafted then you will be billed $150 for a quit claim deed.
